PKD Media releases Agents of C.O.L.T. - Volume 1: Recipe for Destruction
Sunday, October 17, 2010

Today is another milestone! My friends and creators Shawn Pryor and Andrew Charipar have released the first trade paperback collection of their comic book Agents of C.O.L.T..

“Read the adventures of Commander Milyo and his Agents of C.O.L.T. assault team as they take on an unknown foe in Roswell who's bent on taking over the world!” The character Dr. Umak that Shawn based on me is the lead villain in the book. I never thought I’d come so close to taking over the world. Check it out »

I’m part of the Conspiracy!
Friday, October 1, 2010

At the insistence of my good friend Rafer Roberts, and after attending a handful of meetings in downtown Washington D.C., I’m glad to say that I’m now a member of the DC Conspiracy, a great gathering of creative and talented folks.

“Founded in January 2005, the DC Conspiracy has expanded to over 50 members who embody the best of creative comics talent in the DC area. The work we write, draw, edit, and distribute runs the gamut -- from witty and literary works to comics which incorporate action, the mystical, and just plain nonsense. Individually we create, but collectively we're working to expand comics readership and fraternity through anthologies, minis, and webcomics, among other things.”

As most of my geek friends know, I am absolutely smitten (and borderline-obsessed) with the Hanna-Barbera Productions cartoon Challenge of the Super Friends. More specifically, I love the bad guys. That’s right. The Legion of Doom. Truth is, these thirteen baddies are the most amazing and odd assortment of villainy from any comic book publisher ever! Somehow I was able to talk a friend of mine into what can only be described as a multi-year art commission.
