Plastic Farm Creator Rafer Roberts Announced as Artist for Tax Returns

Artist Rafer Roberts of Hagerstown, Maryland will cover the art duties for the cover to Tax Returns, a collection of bizarre short stories written by former students Cameron Shanton, Nathan Fox, and Landon Wivell. Roberts is a fellow member of the DC Conspiracy whose work can be seen in Magic Bullet, Trickster, and District Comics. Also, he self-publishes the long-running creator-owned epic series Plastic Farm through Plastic Farm Press.

Tax Returns includes multiple vignettes of the absurd and bizarre including “The Island of Ignorance,” “Copy and Paste,” and the “Landon’s Squirrel Guide.” The book is due for publication in Summer 2012.

Tax Returns Announced for Summer 2012 Release

I’m happy to announce that I’ll be publishing Tax Returns, a collection of short stories written by former students Cameron Shanton, Nathan Fox, and Landon Wivell. I had the pleasure of teaching these three gentlemen in my Language Arts 8 class for the 2010-2011 school year. Tax Returns includes multiple vignettes of the absurd and bizarre including “The Island of Ignorance,” “Copy and Paste,” and the “Landon’s Squirrel Guide.”
